Sonia Guillouët is a nurse. She was a health executive in the nephrology, dialysis and transplantation department at Caen University Hospital for 13 years.

She has a doctorate in public health and epidemiology.

Since 1 September, she has been a senior lecturer in nursing at the University of Caen (the first post created). She is responsible for the nursing science degree.

Her research focuses mainly on the impact of nursing practices on the outcome of peritoneal dialysis patients. More generally, however, she provides support for nurses and other paramedical professionals wishing to become involved in research.
